Counteracting the spread of COVID-19

In order to effectively counteract the spread of COVID-19 among police officers and civilians, during the last two weeks, doctors of the State Institution "TMA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region" conducted training and worked out an algorithm for providing medical care to patients. Medical workers examine each patient: measure temperature, and blood pressure, conduct pulse oximetry to monitor the saturation (saturation) of hemoglobin in arterial blood with oxygen, and collect blood to detect antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which the body produces in response to the virus.

To date, doctors of the State Enterprise "TMA" have conducted more than 1,400 rapid tests of police officers and civilians.
