The state institution "Territorial medical association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Region" (hereinafter referred to as the SI TMA) is a structural unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs) that implements the state policy of the Ministry in the field of departmental health protection in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
SI TMA is an independent state multidisciplinary health care institution that combines medical and preventive, sanitary and epidemiological, and other institutions provide medical services to civil servants of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers, military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine, pensioners from among the privates and commanding staff of the internal affairs bodies, veterans of internal affairs bodies and their family members.
SI TMA in its activities is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine, and regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
SI TMA organizes the provision of medical and sanitary care to persons, determined by orders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

For health care and sanitary and anti-epidemic support, the Main Directorate of the TMO is subordinate to the medical unit of the DSUIA of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the military units of the NGU stationed in the region.
To resolve issues on the quality of the selection of persons who have the right to medical rehabilitation, sanatorium treatment, and health improvement, a medical selection committee operates at the State Institution of TMA.
The main activities of SI TMA are the provision of qualified and specialized medical care, medical rehabilitation, rehabilitation, and sanatorium treatment to individuals, determined by orders of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
History:
The State Institution "Territorial medical association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region" began its path to a modern medical institution in 1921, when the Sanitary Inspectorate of Yekaterinoslavskaya Guber was created.
1932 - Sanitary inspection of Dnepropetrovsk police.
1941 - The sanitary unit of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
1957 - Medical Service of the Economic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dnipropetrovsk region.
1962 - Medical service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dnipropetrovsk region.
1996 - Health Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dnipropetrovsk region.
2008 - Health Department of the Main Department of Internal Affairs in Dnipropetrovsk region.
2015 - State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Region".
