The Centre for Psychiatric Care and Professional Psychophysiological Selection (hereinafter referred to as the Centre) of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region" is a structural subdivision of the institution established to carry out psychoprophylactic work, medical psychophysiological professional selection, psychiatric, narcological, psychological assistance to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers, servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the NGU), pensioners from among the rank and file and privates.
The Center has a department of outpatient psychiatric care and a department of psycho-prophylaxis and professional psychophysiological selection.
The department of outpatient psychiatric care of the Center conducts psychoprophylactic work among persons entitled to medical care.
- Conducts medical selection for the state of mental health and professional selection for individual psychophysiological characteristics of candidates for police service and training in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine in accordance with regulatory documents.
- Organizes and conducts compulsory preliminary and periodic psychiatric and preventive drug examinations of police officers, and servicemen of the NGU in accordance with regulatory documents.
- Provides outpatient psychiatric, and narcological assistance to persons entitled to medical care conducts examinations of their mental health, diagnosis of mental and behavioral disorders, treatment, and supervision of persons suffering from mental and behavioral disorders on an outpatient basis.
- Organizes and conducts, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, consultative and dispensary registration of persons entitled to medical care.
- Organizes psychological and psychiatric support for police officers, and servicemen of the NGU during the performance of operational and service tasks in the event of man-made and natural emergencies, as well as during the protection of public order in conditions of mass riots and mass events in accordance with the requirements of regulatory legal acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The procedure of psychiatric examination:
During the professional examination:
- filling in the protocols of psychiatric examination;
- computer testing (210 cubic meters);
- interview with a psychologist;
- examination by a psychiatrist and his conclusion, with a medical certificate of mandatory periodic psychiatric examination.
When passing the military medical commission, you must have :
- medical examination report;
- certificates - psychiatric and narcological for the last 5 years from the city of residence;
- conclusion on the results of the psychological examination;
- protocol of psychophysiological examination;
- protocol of preliminary psychiatric examination.
The Department of Psychoprophylaxis and Professional Psychophysiological Selection is a specialized medical and psychological structural unit of the Center, designed for psychological, psychodiagnostic, and psychophysiological examinations according to established standards
The department conducts :
- Psychological, psychodiagnostic examination of candidates for service in the police, the National Guard, training in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard.
- Medical psychophysiological examination of candidates for service in the police, NGU, and training in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the purpose of professional selection.
- Psychological, psychodiagnostic, and medical psychophysiological examination of police officers and servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine when they are transferred, when they leave for further service abroad, and when they are dismissed.
The procedure of psychiatric examination:
